Cheryl, the founder of Waymakers Kids, is a wife and mother of three children aged 5, 3 and 10 months,  living in Royal Docks. She has over 15 years experience as a primary educator, has been assistant head, arts lead and consultant and is an artist. She decided to leave full time teaching to pursue a creative life whilst raising a young family. 

"Every mum has a story. We have ours as a family. My daughter was born under exceptional circumstances. It's a miracle that we are both alive. 

During her delivery, I asked if I could play music. My daughter was born to the song - "Waymaker." It's a song about the One who makes a way when there seems to be none.

I didn't know the birth of my children, would also birth a bold vision in me to see everyone released in their creative, unique gifts."
